SWC X WELLNESS

Welcome back to our interview series, where we interview people in the wellness, beauty or fitness industry for an insight into their businesses and lives.

Liv is the owner and founder of SWC (Successful Women's Club), based in Newark, but works online. She is extremely creative, and has lots of knowledge around mindset and the law of attraction and is super passionate about women creating the life of their dreams! Her creativity and research behind her, made her super passionate about helping likeminded women mainly in building their own businesses, leading her to writing books to share everything she has learned and more.  Liv has had very successful businesses, one being Mason Rayn in which she did digital illustrations, and was featured in NEXT.

SWC

How are you and tell me a little about yourself?

I’m really good thank you, my names Liv, I’m 32, a mum of 3, the founder of Successful Women’s Club and creator/ writer of Becoming her and You are the effin niche angel.

Explain SWC in 5 words, and what does SWC stand for?

Empowering, exciting, creative, motivational, transformational. SWC stands for "Successful Womens Club"

What is your book about briefly and why did you decide to write one?

So, Becoming her is all about finding out who your highest self is and stepping into her shoes. It focuses on guiding you to becoming the best version of yourself from your mindset, to freeing yourself from limiting beliefs, then there is the manifesting and lots of other bits like working on your goals with strategies that work that get you from A - B, and detoxing your mind etc. The workbook is written from my personal experiences of what has helped me and worked for me.
Anything is possible once you have mastered your mind and that’s what I realised when I started my entrepreneurial journey and of course it’s the most important part, but it’s the hardest part I always say once we master your mind the rest is easy and that’s why I knew before anything if I wanted to help women I had to to start with their mindset first.

What audience do you attract?

I attract the best audience, everyone around me virtually is so interesting, so driven, fearless and just so inspiring I love it. I do think my main audience are driven women early 20s to mid 30s mostly. But I love to help women on all different paths. Of all different ages.

If you could give younger you advice, what would it be?

Oh wow this one has me in the feels, I’d 100% tell her to be more confident because she has so much to offer. I struggled my whole life with confidence and self belief and SWC really helped me come out of my shell.

Who is your favourite influencer for mindful inspiration?

Jun yuh he is so incredible. I also love dan koe.

Where can we find and purchase your book?

You can find it on my website www.successfulwomensclub.co.uk

Who inspires you the most offline?

My husband 1000% he is so incredibly intelligent, he’s fearless, he works so hard and he’s come from nothing with so much childhood trauma (he grew up in a very very poor part of Turkey) had to pretty much raise his younger siblings and he just has the most beautiful heart. I admire him so much.

Your go to coffee order?

Ermmmm can I just order a tea? Milk no sugar please?

You favourite place to visit?

Norther Cyprus - my second home.

What do you do when you aren’t working on your business?

I’m a mum of 3 and became a mum at just turned 19. When I’m not working, I’m with them, my youngest is 1 next month and they are my world! But I also love cocktails, shopping and I am hoping one day soon I can get back to a gym.

Explain the whole reason why you started SWC?

Successful women’s club was created to empower females to pursue their dreams confidently and achieve their own personal success. To show and prove that the world has no limits.

Through my own ability and experiences in business (both physical and digital),design and mentoring over the years I made the decision to pivot from my previous illustration business after seeing huge and fast success and launched successful women’s club, I was always made to feel not very bright, and that I’d never get anywhere in life due to being a creative in school. So when I began illustrating at the age of 28, I realised that actually the thing I was naturally good at and that I loved to do were the things I was passionate in but felt too afraid to do anything with.

I’m very impulsive - I opened Mason Rayn as a social media biz in may 2020 creating illustrations for people and by September I was shut until the new year due to the volume of orders. By the February I had clothes with my design on in shops and not longer after that there were products in NEXT with my designs on, it was very fast and a really incredible journey. But It was tough and I knew that I had more to give and a story… so in order to get to draw what I wanted I had to re think the business that’s when I closed it and opened SWC, and inside SWC we have ‘The School of SWC’ (my digital resource hub to help others) my mission remaining consistent - To empower and guide women to build freedom-based businesses from the ground up using their own unique skills, experiences and creativity.

What does your Pinterest look like? Can you share a screenshot?

Oh mine is a mash up of cool women, art and toddler outfits.

What are your future plans for SWC and how can you help likeminded girlies?

I see SWC becoming the go to platform for women to come take what they need and build a legacy from. I’m starting mentoring in the new year, I’ve been doing it privately for a couple of years now but I’m excited to reach more, help more and inspire more to become more.

What does wellness mean to you?

It’s so important and when you’re a parent especially you tend to forever pour … I always say we pour from empty cups regardless, because we really do at times , we don’t have a choice. But it’s so important to take the time to do things for ourselves. To move our bodies, to fuel it and to listen to it. We’re nothing without it.
