Hey!
First of all, thank you so so much for your support, and even reading this! I am feeling so very lucky to have such a good support network, and I really hope you enjoy my classes and other services I have to offer in the near future!
My name is Niomi Stromberg, I am a mum of two girls (5&7) who are my whole reason why. I want them to grow up and see a strong healthy mum, mind and body and to follow in my footsteps, knowing that they can achieve anything they want in life, whatever that may be. I have always had a very good work ethic, there was a period where I used to work 9-5 in an office, then walk to the train station, and work 7-10pm in London near on 5 times a week.. I put so much effort into what I set my mind to, which I’m very grateful for, or else I wouldn’t have gotten to where I am today in my career. I have dealt with major things, good and bad, all whilst working for myself. I always forced myself out of my comfort zone and said yes to opportunities that usually I would've been too scared to do! Which by the way, you should ALL do this, even when it’s uncomfortable! It’s the best advice anyone could give!
Pilates was something I was always super intrigued by, after starting training in the gym, and learning so much from my boyfriend (he’s a PT!) about muscles, form and nutrition. I knew I wanted to do something fitness related, and share it with people around me. I always knew there was a way to show people how they can feel good from the inside, out. Anyone I’ve spoken to, or helped with this, can confirm that I am massively passionate about it all.
I tried reform, and I loved it. I knew there and then, I could do this? I could show people how to transform their body deep to their core. Mat pilates is so good for so many reasons, improving bones, joints, muscles, your core and more! I knew I would love it, and I did! This is how I knew that I wanted to go into teaching it, I thought it was the best route for me, especially with being a mum and experiencing fluctuating weight, to now maintaining a good healthy lifestyle. Pilates, alongside weight training, walking, making healthier food choices and drinking more water, is the BEST combo ever. I never have felt better. I knew I wanted to show people this exact way of feeling!
The online aspect is due to realising some people do not actually get time to leave the house, and I know how hard it can be with kids / babies, to get 5 minutes to yourself. This is why I thought of online pilates via zoom, with a range of 20-60 minute classes, personalised to you and your time needs / goals! Pilates over zoom, in the comfort of your own home, personalised to you, I feel is a great idea :)
With freckled club, I am hoping to grow a lovely community both offline and online. Grouping together likeminded people, and giving people motivation and accountability through new friendships and mindsets!
As for the blog, I will be doing one post a week, interviewing other businesses in the wellness, fitness and beauty industry, alongside recipe ideas, girly chit chat and more!
